Left, Joe Patrissi's
magnificent Axis buck harvested at Bayou Pinto near Bracketville,
Texas. This buck currently is ranked #9 in the SCI Record Book of
Trophy Animals for free-ranging.
On the right is Joseph G. Leuci with his trophy Axis buck which is

The 2008 turkey season was one of my best. It got off to a very slow start, but I was lucky enough to harvest this 8-bearded tom destined for the record books near Oakalla, TX. He had a combined beard length of 26", 7/8" spurs and weighed 18.5 pounds. His total score was 88.125 which would rank him as #64 in the NWTF records! Not bad for a two year old bird. |

On the left is my son JP
with his SCI Silver Medal Trophy Blesbuck that scored 44 2/8".
That's me on the right with a nice Kudu taken on the Done Rovin'
ranch near Grahamstown on a recent safari to South
Africa. |

To the left is Elwyn
Walker with his 26-pound Eastern tom taken in Iowa 2004.
On the right is Rich Lockery with his two trophy Rio toms taken on
The Gumbo Ranch near San Angelo, Texas. |

My daughter, Connie, with
her 10 point buck taken on The Gumbo Ranch. The buck had an inside spread of 22 1/4". Not bad for a 9
year old?!

Here is a spectacular silver phase Rio Grande tom I took near Mason, TX this past Fall. After all the years of chasing the wily wild turkey, this is one of my most special trophies! |
